Mexican Soldier Injured in Attack in Chihuahua's Rosario Neighborhood
A member of the Mexican Army's Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) was severely assaulted by two men at the intersection of streets 44 and Tamborel in the Rosario colonia of Chihuahua. The soldier, who was reportedly unarmed at the time, suffered a head injury after being struck and knocked unconscious. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, police and dozens of Sedena personnel deployed a large‑scale security operation in the area to locate the attackers and investigate the alleged attempt to seize the soldier's weapon. Authorities have not confirmed whether the weapon was taken and have not released further details on the victim's condition.
