Mexican State and Municipal Governments Launch Training on Emotional Management and Respectful Public Service

The Guerrero state government, through the Secretariat of Contraloría and Transparencia Gubernamental and its gender unit led by Francisco González Sánchez, began a ten‑session workshop for 20 public employees. The program, titled “Manejo de Emociones y Prevención de la Violencia,” aims to improve emotional regulation, communication skills, empathy and to prevent workplace violence among civil servants.

In the municipality of Chilcuautla, Hidalgo, mayor Gabriela Escamilla López inaugurated a training session for municipal staff on dignified and gender‑sensitive citizen interaction. The workshop, organized by the municipal Conciliation Direction with support from the Instituto Hidalguense de las Mujeres, focuses on proper reception, empathy, respect and efficient handling of public inquiries and vulnerable cases.
