Mexican state programs bring public services and security to local communities
Various state government initiatives are bringing essential services and security measures to different regions in Mexico.
In Jalisco, the “Yo Jalisco” brigade held its 138th session in Chapala. The program provided residents with access to health services, legal advice, employment opportunities, and civil registry procedures, aiming to reach vulnerable and rural populations across the state's 125 municipalities.
In Chihuahua, the “Cuenta Conmigo” health and services fair is scheduled for October 3 at the Anapra Health Center in Ciudad Juárez. The event will offer 21 different health services, including vaccinations, dental care, and mental health support, alongside modules for the Civil Registry, the State Prosecutor's Office, and water and sanitation services.
Additionally, the General Coordination of Road Safety in Ciudad Juárez will implement security operations from October 2 to October 4. These measures are intended to manage traffic and ensure participant safety during several upcoming events, including a university anniversary race, the Bike Fest 2026, and the Pulse of Health race organized by the U.S. Consulate.
