Mexican State Prosecutor Seizes Two Properties Linked to Burned-Car Murder in Puebla

The Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) carried out raids on the morning of July 8 in the Granjas San Isidro area of Puebla, executing seizure orders on two adjoining properties on the Periférico Ecológico. Property No. 1013, a commercial automobile lot housing three private trucks, and property No. 1006, an unregistered mechanic workshop, were both secured with official seals after evidence was collected.

The operation is part of the investigation into the June 21 incident where a Seat vehicle was deliberately set on fire on the Periférico, leaving a corpse inside. Police had earlier arrested a 30‑year‑old suspect identified as a member of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) who was believed to have used the vehicle for the crime. Authorities expect to formalise the seizure details and any confiscated items in the coming hours.
