The government of San Luis Potosí, led by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, opened the Foro Empresarial Bajío 2026. The forum, organized by the Mexican Association of Women Entrepreneurs, aims to enhance competitiveness, digital innovation and value‑chain links in the Bajío region, with participation from state officials, industry leaders and international experts.

In Guerrero, Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda inaugurated the Foro Guerrero Minero 2026. She highlighted mining as a strategic sector that generates about 4.8% of the state’s GDP, creates more than 31,500 jobs and contributes over 13 billion pesos annually. The event gathered mining companies, academic and community representatives to promote modern, responsible mining and attract further investment.
