Mexican states open limited registrations for women's cash‑aid programs

The government of Guanajuato has launched an extraordinary registration round for the Tarjeta Rosa program, leaving only 3,500 spots for mothers aged 25‑45. Applicants must submit a digital application with an INE ID, proof of address and a child’s birth certificate. Accepted beneficiaries will receive a single payment of 6,000 pesos in November.

In Baja California, authorities announced a five‑day registration period (27‑31 July 2026) for the Tarjeta Violeta Bienestar program, which provides a bimonthly cash benefit of 2,600 pesos. The aid targets women aged 18‑59 who are heads of household, earn less than 15,000 pesos a month and reside in the state. Applicants must present official ID, CURP, recent proof of residence and dependent documentation at designated modules in cities such as Mexicali, Tijuana and Ensenada.
