Mexican states promote summer cultural programs for families and indigenous youth

The government of Baja California Sur, through the Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Cultura, invited residents and visitors to explore museums, galleries, and cultural centers during the vacation period, highlighting permanent and temporary exhibitions at venues such as the Museo Regional de Antropología e Historia, the Museo de Arte de BCS, the Carlos Olachea Boucsiéguez Art Gallery, the La Paz Cultural Center, and the Casa del Libro Sudcaliforniano.

In Ciudad Juárez, the municipal Center for Indigenous Peoples, together with the municipal DIF, launched the first "Entre Raíces" summer camp for indigenous children aged 6 to 13. Running from 20 to 31 July, the camp offers traditional games, artistic workshops, sports, and cultural activities aimed at strengthening identity and preserving traditions of local indigenous communities.
