Mexican students achieve international honors in education and science

Two Mexican students have achieved international recognition in educational and scientific competitions.

Lili Sofía Hernández Reséndiz, a student from the Universidad de Guanajuato, won a gold medal at the 8th EMPRENDAY Ibero-American Educational Projects Challenge. Her project, titled ‘Ancestral: raíces Uzá que hablan, enseñan y permanecen’, focuses on the preservation and valuation of indigenous languages. Due to her performance, the project has earned certification to participate in Infomatrix Bolivia 2027.

In Jalisco, Adriana Alejandra Ramírez Cortés, a student at the Universidad de Guadalajara, won a gold prize in the Vanda International Junior Science Olympiad qualifiers. This achievement has qualified her for the STEAM Ahead international final in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Her participation follows successful performances in regional STEAM tournaments.
