Mexican towns begin new road‑paving projects

The municipal government of Cadereyta Jiménez in Mexico started reconstructing pavement in the San Juan neighborhood, covering 2,740 m² of streets including sections near the local church and school. The work aims to improve safety and mobility for residents who have faced deteriorated roads for years.

In Piedras Negras, the mayor announced that the city’s newly acquired paving machines are now operating, allowing crews to lay asphalt on several blocks of Calle Tuble. Officials said the effort has restored road surfaces that had not been upgraded for up to 25 years, and more sections are scheduled for preparation and paving in the coming days.
