Mexican towns repave streets in Tequisquiapan and Ecatepec

The municipal government of Tequisquiapan, Querétaro state, inaugurated work to rehabilitate Calle 25 de Diciembre in the La Laja community. The project, funded with municipal resources and pipe supplies from the State Water Commission, will repave 2,223.47 m² of roadway with wet‑packed mortar and replace 390 m of PVC water‑line. Mayor Héctor Magaña Rentería, local officials and about 150 residents attended the ceremony.

In Ecatepec, State of Mexico, officials completed the repavement of nearly half a kilometer (421 m) of Boulevard Quetzalcóatl in the La Florida area of Ciudad Azteca. The works, financed with municipal funds and the Federal Infrastructure Social Fund, included new drainage, water‑supply networks, sidewalks, a landscaped median and upgraded lighting. The project cost 24.3 million pesos and is expected to benefit roughly 2,500 inhabitants. The inauguration was led by mayor Azucena Cisneros Coss.
