Mexican towns upgrade key roads and schools with new paving and infrastructure projects

In Ocoyucan, Puebla, municipal authorities restored the main Calle Reforma with new street lighting, sanitary drainage and an asphalt concrete surface, improving traffic flow between the town centre and the Federal Atlixco highway. The project also included safety upgrades for the local Salvador Novo kindergarten and better drainage at the Francisco Villa high school, benefiting students and residents.

In Atotonilco de Tula, Hidalgo, the mayor inaugurated the paving of Avenida del Trabajo in the Ocampo community. The 6,477‑square‑metre asphalt work, funded with 3.4 million pesos of municipal resources, aims to improve a primary access road and overall mobility for locals. Officials highlighted the participatory process involving community committees and pledged further infrastructure investments across the municipality.
