Mexican universities announce innovation and agricultural forums

Several Mexican universities have announced upcoming events focused on innovation, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) will host the 2026 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum on September 8 in Victoria. Organized through the Secretaría de Vinculación and the Centro de Innovación y Transferencia del Conocimiento (CINOTAM), the event aims to connect students with the regional business and industrial sectors. The forum will feature a “Zona de Innovación y Networking” where students can present business models and prototypes to investors and specialists. The program includes keynote speeches, workshops, and networking sessions.

In Saltillo, the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro (UAAAN) will hold Expo UAAAN 2026 from September 3 to 5. This event will feature academic exhibitions, livestock shows, and scientific research presentations. Highlights include the “De la Ciencia al Campo” lecture and the II Agro-Commercial Forum, designed to foster interaction between producers and commercial exhibitors. The expo will also showcase traditional products from Coahuila communities, such as artisanal crafts and agricultural derivatives.
