Mexican universities appoint new leaders and welcome nursing students

The Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur (UABCS) announced several senior appointments in its Directorate of School Services. Rector Dr. Dante Salgado González appointed Mtro. David Flores Reyes as director of Services School, Lic. José Luis Villarreal Quintero as head of the Control School Department, and MCD. Evelyn Gabriela Ortega Alcántara as head of the Revalidation and Professional Exams Department, emphasizing a commitment to efficient, student‑focused administration.

The Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (UAZ) held an induction ceremony for its new nursing cohort. Director Esther Palacios Rodríguez welcomed the students, presented the faculty and administrative structure of the Nursing Academic Unit, and outlined the program’s scientific, technical, ethical and community‑service components that will shape their professional training.
