Mexican universities hold admission exams for 2026 enrollment

The Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) administered its 2026 admission test on Friday, with 14,121 candidates competing for 7,912 available seats across undergraduate, technical and high‑school programs. The university reported 23 foreign applicants from the United States, Peru, Colombia and Cuba, and provided accommodations for 26 students with disabilities. Health services were on site, including medical care and a psychological first‑aid brigade.

The Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) concluded its final admission‑exam session on 3 July at the Auditorio de Usos Múltiples. The day covered a broad range of disciplines, from humanities and law to economics, engineering and the arts. Candidates were required to present printed admission forms, photo ID, basic stationery and a calculator, while mobile phones and smart devices were prohibited to ensure an orderly process.
