Mexican universities host forums to promote student academic mobility

Universities in Mexico are hosting forums and fairs to promote academic mobility and internationalization among their student bodies.

At the Centro Universitario de la Ciénega (part of the University of Guadalajara) in Ocotlán, Jalisco, the second Student Mobility Fair was held. The event provided students with information regarding available exchange programs, partner countries, and necessary documentation. Participants, including students of Chemical Engineering and International Business, utilized the fair to resolve doubts regarding language requirements, credit transfers, and academic grading standards.

Similarly, the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) organized a Student Exchange Forum at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Educational Innovation. The forum aimed to motivate students by providing guidance on national and international mobility opportunities, including financing options and application processes. The event featured alumni who shared personal and professional experiences to illustrate the benefits of studying at different institutions.
