Mexican universities launch 2026 admission cycles

The University of Sonora announced the results of its 2026 admission process, allowing candidates who took the CENEVAL exam to view their scores and begin registration from June 2 to June 4. The university also detailed three subsequent seat‑reallocation (corrimiento) periods in mid‑June and early July to fill any vacancies.

The Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit administered its CENEVAL admission exam to more than 7,000 applicants across multiple campuses. Officials expect the next cohort to include between 3,700 and 4,000 students, with health‑related programs drawing the highest demand. Exam results are slated for release on July 17, and the university is working to streamline enrollment and allocate remaining spots.

Both institutions report smooth exam operations and emphasize the importance of following official channels for registration and result verification.
