Mexican universities launch 2026 admission exams with online testing and psychological support

The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) began its 2026 admission process on June 20, offering online EXANI‑II‑EPIU and EXANI‑I‑BUAP exams for high‑school and university applicants. Results are scheduled for July 18. BUAP introduced direct admission to 106 programmes, benefiting 9,509 candidates—2,036 from the high‑school level and 7,473 from the university level—with two intake periods set for August 2026 and January 2027.

The Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) will deploy a Brigade of First‑Aid Psychological Services during the same admission exams. More than 50 faculty, students and volunteers will provide brief, eight‑minute interventions to manage anxiety, stress or other emotional difficulties, offering immediate support and follow‑up referrals as needed.
