Mexican welfare programs begin card distribution in Edomex and Yucatán

State and federal authorities in Mexico have launched new phases of social assistance card distributions. In the State of Mexico (Edomex), the 'Mujeres con Bienestar' program has begun delivering cards to new beneficiaries aged 18 to 59 in the municipalities of Zinacantepec, Almoloya de Juárez, and Temoaya. This program provides 2,500 pesos every two months to support the economic condition of families.

In Yucatán, the Welfare Programs Delegation has started distributing replacement cards for the 'Pensión para Adultos Mayores' to beneficiaries whose cards expired. This pension provides 6,400 pesos bimonthly to citizens aged 65 and older. Beneficiaries are advised to monitor phone calls or SMS messages for instructions on collecting their new Banco del Bienestar cards.
