Mexican wrestling promotions AAA and CMLL announce major 2026 events

Lucha Libre AAA confirmed that its Verano de Escándalo 2026 will take place on Saturday, 25 July, at Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The event will precede Triplemanía, which this year will be staged over two nights in separate cities. AAA expects the show to be broadcast on FOX as in recent specials and anticipates participation from WWE talent. Following Verano de Escándalo, AAA will begin its Road to Triplemanía 34 series, with shows scheduled for 11 and 13 September in Las Vegas and Mexico City, including a defense of the AAA Mega Championship.

CMLL announced its Friday Arena México card for 12 June 2026. Highlights include the debut of Tiger Mask, a match featuring Sammy Guevara and Beast Mortos versus the Villano family, and a ROH World Tag Team Championship bout. The event will also showcase a Mexico‑Japan rivalry match, the return of Thunder Rosa, and several multi‑wrestler contests highlighting both Mexican and international talent.
