Mexico adds new primary classroom in Coahuila and expands Rita Cetina school aid in Naucalpan

In Nava, Coahuila, the primary school Leona Vicario received a newly constructed classroom as part of the state Mejora program. The inauguration, attended by municipal mayor Iván Ochoa Rodríguez and regional education officials, also included delivery of sports equipment and cleaning supplies to support academic and extracurricular activities.

In the municipality of Naucalpan, the federal Rita Cetina scholarship program continued its distribution of benefit cards, reaching more than 36,000 students across 312 public schools. Mayor Isaac Montoya Márquez, together with officials from the federal Secretariat of Welfare, handed out 1,835 cards in a ceremony at Parque Naucalli. The program, launched under former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and maintained by the current administration, aims to help families afford uniforms and school supplies. Attendees also received free health services, including vision tests and mobile medical consultations.
