Mexico advances local infrastructure projects in La Paz and Tlaxcala

The municipal government of La Paz, Baja California Sur, has begun paving Villa Natalia street. The 950‑metre road work, funded with 4.5 million pesos, is 17.4 % complete and aims to improve traffic flow and safety for roughly 3,600 residents of the Villas del Encanto neighbourhood.

In Tlaxcala, federal and state authorities are moving forward with the Integral Health and Well‑Being Project in Chiautempan. The plan includes a new childcare and education centre (CECI) costing 48.7 million pesos and a Family Medicine Unit Plus valued at 951 million pesos. Together the facilities will serve more than 80,000 people, create about 540 direct jobs, and expand medical capacity to up to 2,000 patients per day.

Both projects are part of broader efforts to upgrade public infrastructure, enhance mobility, and expand health services for local communities in Mexico.
