Mexico advances police command centers in Monterrey and Quintana Roo

Monterrey's new Central Command, Control, Communication and Computing (C4) North facility is 65% complete, representing an investment of over 219 million pesos. Mayor Adrián de la Garza Santos said the center will boost police deployment and intelligence capabilities in the city’s north zone, with detailed progress across the main building, perimeter fence, parking area, electrical workshop and locker zone.

In Quintana Roo, state security officials announced that all eleven municipal Command and Control Centers (C2) will be linked to the statewide C5 network by the end of 2026. The project, costing around 10 million pesos, includes installing new monitoring points in Othón P. Blanco and Bacalar and delivering roughly 1,200 body‑worn cameras to municipal police, enabling real‑time supervision and reducing corruption risks.
