Tamaulipas joins National Transparency Policy development

The Government of Tamaulipas, through its Secretary of Anti-Corruption and Good Government, participated in the Second Ordinary Session 2026 of the National System of Access to Public Information Council.

During the session, progress was presented regarding the construction of the National Policy on Transparency and Access to Public Information. The technical team identified three core thematic axes for this policy: transparency and access to information, means of challenge and complaint handling, and intelligence for decision-making. Tamaulipas has complied with the required information collection formats to support these collaborative efforts.

Additionally, the session highlighted a decree promulgated by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. This decree establishes the additional information that subjects of the Federal Executive must proactively publish due to its public interest.
