In Mexico, the federal Rita Cetina scholarship program has begun handing out prepaid cards worth 2,500 pesos to primary‑school students. The cards, distributed through schools across the country, are intended to help families cover textbooks, uniforms and other supplies for the 2026‑2027 school year. The monetary deposit will be made later, after the cards are issued, as part of a broader strategy to lessen the financial burden on thousands of households.

In Argentina, the ANSES agency has opened online tools for students to verify whether they will receive Progresar scholarship payments in June 2026. Applicants can check their status through the Mi ANSES portal using their CUIL or a negative‑certification document. The system also indicates payment dates and the bank branches or virtual wallets where funds will be deposited, following a schedule based on each beneficiary’s national ID number.
