Mexico and Argentina launch new autism care facilities

The Centro de Intervención al Trastorno del Espectro Autista (CITEA) in Nuevo León, Mexico, is slated to open by the end of September. The 220‑million‑peso project, overseen by Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda and Mariana Rodríguez Cantú, will provide free, comprehensive services in 22 therapy rooms, 18 consultorios and additional amenities for neurodivergent children and adolescents.

In Moreno, Argentina, Mayor Mariel Fernández announced the start of construction for a new Casa TEA space in the Cuartel V district. The facility will include a multi‑use hall, an adapted bathroom and a specialized consultorio, expanding therapeutic, cultural and community‑garden programs for autistic individuals and their families. Casa TEA was founded by Ana Rodríguez and co‑founder Liliana Mansilla.
