Mexico finished the World Cup 2026 group stage with a flawless record, earning nine points out of nine and conceding no goals after a 3‑0 victory over the Czech Republic at the Azteca Stadium. The hosts, coached by Javier Aguirre, defeated South Africa and South Korea earlier in the tournament.
