To address water security, a desalination plant in Playas de Rosarito is planned with a total investment of 12.5 billion pesos.

Other initiatives include maintenance and expansion of the San Felipe Airport, road network conservation, and the inauguration of the González Ortega Combined Cycle Power Plant by the CFE.
