Mexico announces National Mole Fair and Expo Tequila events

Mexico is preparing for two significant cultural and gastronomic events in 2026. In Milpa Alta, the 49th National Mole Fair will take place in San Pedro Atocpan from October 3 to 25. The community is a major hub for the industry, accounting for approximately 60 percent of national mole production. The festival will feature 23 restaurants and 17 producers offering various specialties, including mole almendrado with turkey and mole rojo with chicken.

In San Pedro Tlaquepaque, the 14th edition of Expo Tequila will be held on October 3 and 4 at the Casa Agave venue. Organized by the Tlaquepaque Chamber of Commerce, the event will host over 150 brands of tequila, raicilla, and mezcal. The program includes tastings, mixology activities, and music. Additionally, the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) will participate by awarding Distintivo T certifications to establishments that meet specific standards for tequila handling and service.
