Mexico appoints new finance officials in Tamaulipas and Tulum

Epifanio Muñoz Quintero was appointed subsecretario de Ingresos for the Secretaría de Finanzas of Tamaulipas by state finance secretary Carlos Irán Ramírez González. Muñoz, previously director general of atención, gestión y contacto interno, pledged to strengthen revenue collection, taxpayer service and efficient administration in line with Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya’s policy.

Rubén Raziel Ek Cruz was confirmed as the new titular de la Tesorería Municipal of Tulum after a virtual extraordinary session of the municipal council. Ek Cruz, a law graduate with more than a decade of municipal experience, will oversee the town’s financial resources, income, expenditures and fiscal management.
