Mexico arrests three suspected human traffickers in Tamaulipas

The Federal Prosecutor's Office (FGR) secured a judicial decision linking three individuals – Gregorio “N”, Britani “N” and Balbina “N” – to organized‑crime human‑trafficking charges in the state of Tamaulipas. Investigations indicated that since 2024 they aided a criminal organization operating in Reynosa and Río Bravo, both border municipalities. Federal agents, together with the Government Security Cabinet, raided a residence in the Cumbres colonia of Río Bravo, arresting the suspects, seizing four properties, twelve mobile phones, a camera, a vehicle, documents and cash. A judge ordered their preventive detention at the Matamoros correctional facility and set a four‑month deadline for further investigation.
