Mexico authorities arrest man for aggravated rape of teenager in Yautepec

The Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the Eastern Regional Prosecutor's Office in Morelos executed an arrest warrant for Miguel Ángel “N” after a family member reported an aggravated rape of a teenage girl that allegedly occurred on 22 October 2025 in a residence in Yautepec. The Special Unit for Sexual Crimes and Human Trafficking compiled the investigative file, which was presented to a judge who ordered the suspect’s detention. AIC officers located Miguel Ángel “N” in the San Isidro neighborhood of Yautepec, applied the appropriate protocol and delivered him before the judge for imprisonment.

The case underscores the regional prosecutor’s response to sexual violence against minors, with the suspect now under judicial custody pending trial.
