Mexico authorities arrest multiple individuals for domestic violence
Multiple incidents of domestic violence led to several arrests in Monterrey and Cuautla, Mexico.
In Monterrey, Nuevo León, authorities detained two men for separate acts of family violence. One 19-year-old man was arrested after allegedly kicking his 46-year-old mother and threatening her with death following a dispute over financial assistance for a business. In a separate incident in the Pedro Lozano neighborhood, a 48-year-old man was detained after allegedly assaulting his partner and her teenage daughter following a disagreement regarding money for alcohol.
In Cuautla, Morelos, a 57-year-old man identified as Efraín “N” was arrested after an intoxicated domestic dispute escalated into a physical assault. The victim attempted to flee the home to seek help from neighbors after being attacked. Local police reported that the suspect attempted to resist arrest and confront officers before being taken into custody. He has been placed at the disposal of the Morelos State Attorney General's Office.
