Mexico awards 217 new primary school teachers in graduation ceremonies
In Aguascalientes, the Rural Normal School “Justo Sierra Méndez” presented the graduation certificates to 67 women who completed the 2022‑2026 Primary Education degree. The ceremony, held in the Auditorio “7 de Noviembre,” featured Governor Tere Jiménez, who emphasized teaching as a path to opportunity, and school director José Claro Padilla Beltrán, who praised the graduates and the institutional support received.
In Hidalgo, the Escuela Normal Valle del Mezquital celebrated its 50th anniversary by graduating 150 students from the 2022‑2026 cohort in Primary and Preschool Education. The event was led by Secretary of Public Education Natividad Castrejón Valdez and attended by Governor Julio Menchaca Salazar, who highlighted the historic nature of the graduating class under the 2022 curriculum plan and the New Mexican School principles. Both ceremonies underscored the role of new teachers in promoting inclusion, diversity, and community development across Mexico.
