Mexico celebrates Independence Day and cultural traditions

Mexico prepares for various cultural celebrations marking Independence Day and National Charro Day. In Tijuana, Grupo Caliente has announced free family festivities at the Canódromo Hipódromo, featuring traditional Mexican food, children's games, and a mini-zoo. The event will also include a parade by the Asociación de Charros de Baja California to promote Charrería traditions.

In Chetumal, families are observing the patriotic month through traditional dinners, such as pozole, and decorating homes with national symbols to honor Mexican roots.

Additionally, the Centro Cultural Tijuana (Cecut) recently hosted a large-scale operatic production of ‘The Fall of the House of Usher,’ based on the work of Edgar Allan Poe. The performance, which featured the Orquesta de Baja California, drew over one thousand attendees to the venue.
