Mexico City and State of Mexico announce October 2026 vehicle verification schedule

Authorities in Mexico City and the State of Mexico have released the vehicle verification schedule for October 2026. The schedule is determined by the vehicle's sticker color and license plate ending.

Vehicles with a red sticker and license plates ending in 3 or 4 must complete their verification by October 31, 2026. Vehicles with a green sticker and license plates ending in 1 or 2 have a deadline of November 30, 2026.

Periodic verification is mandatory for all vehicles except those with a valid '00' hologram. In the State of Mexico, the '00' hologram is valid for two years, while holograms 0, 1, and 2 require regular renewal.
