Mexico City: Couple stabbed in Gustavo A. Madero attack

A woman and her partner were stabbed in the Nueva Atzacoalco neighborhood of the Gustavo A. Madero borough in Mexico City. The victim, Jennifer, identified her former girlfriend, Michelle Alejandra “N”, as the alleged assailant.

According to security footage and victim testimony, the incident began with a verbal confrontation that escalated into a physical attack using a serrated kitchen knife. The partner, Julio César, sustained serious injuries to his lungs and liver. He remains in critical condition at the Hospital de La Villa and has undergone multiple surgeries.

Jennifer sustained a leg injury and reported that she had previously received death threats via message after starting a new relationship. She has filed a complaint with the Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México, though she expressed concern that the investigation was classified as simple injuries rather than attempted homicide or feminicide.
