Mexico City deploys over 1,100 officials for Mexico‑Ecuador match, reviews police conduct after protest

Following incidents where mothers of missing persons were allegedly pushed and assaulted by city police during a protest near the stadium, the Secretariat of Citizen Security said it will review its protocols, strengthen human‑rights training for officers and investigate any misconduct.
