Mexico City Judge Links Yosthan “El Diente de Oro” to Human Trafficking and Tren de Aragua

A judge in Mexico City formally linked Yosthan “N”, known as “El Diente de Oro”, to a human‑trafficking case involving sexual exploitation in the Benito Juárez borough. The investigation began after a sex‑worker filed a complaint on 22 July, alleging that the suspect demanded a weekly payment of 2,000 pesos, threatened her verbally and by phone, and repeatedly followed her in a van to maintain control.

The Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México coordinated interviews and gathered evidence that led to an arrest warrant. Police from the Investigación division located Yosthan “N” in a hospital in the Miguel Hidalgo borough and detained him on 30 July with assistance from the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana. At the initial hearing, the judge ordered preventive detention and set a three‑month deadline for further investigation. Authorities also suspect his affiliation with the Venezuelan criminal organization Tren de Aragua, which operates in several Mexico City boroughs and is involved in extortion, homicide, kidnapping and migrant trafficking.
