Mexico City police detain three suspects in Coyoacán watch robbery

Mexico City authorities arrested three individuals, including two minors, after a violent robbery at a department store in the Coyoacán borough. The assailants entered the shop on Avenida División del Norte, fired shots toward the ceiling to intimidate staff and customers, and stole dozens of wristwatches. Police used a virtual perimeter from the C2 command center to track the suspects on a black scooter in the San Diego Churubusco neighborhood, where they fled on foot. Officers recovered 26 watches, display cases and the scooter, and seized a short firearm with six cartridges. The three detainees, aged 21, 17 and 16, were handed over to the public prosecutor for further investigation.
