Emergency incidents reported in Spain and Mexico
Various emergency incidents have been reported across Spain and Mexico. In Ciudad Real, Spain, a ten-year-old child is in intensive care at the University Hospital of Toledo after being thrown from the ‘Olla Loca’ fairground attraction.
In Hermosillo, Mexico, a chemical spill involving approximately 20 liters of muriatic acid at an IMSS-Bienestar clinic led to the preventive evacuation of about 50 patients and staff. Emergency services controlled the leak and ventilated the facility; no injuries were reported.
Other notable incidents in Mexico include the death of an infant following a suspected drowning in La Paz, Baja California Sur, and a rescue operation in Mexico City where police officers assisted a baby choking on bread by transporting the child to a pediatric hospital.
