Mexico City to host 2026 Amaranth Fair

The Monument to the Revolution in Mexico City will host the 2026 Amaranth Fair, a cultural and gastronomic event celebrating the nutritional and historical value of this traditional food. The fair will take place from Friday, August 21, to Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Local producers from the southern region of Mexico City will offer a variety of artisanal products, including traditional sweets like 'alegrías', wafers, chocolate clusters, and baked goods made with amaranth flour.
