Mexico City to Host Harry Potter Quidditch Fun Run 2026

A themed running event, the Harry Potter Quidditch Fun Run 2026, will take place in Mexico City on 1 November 2026. Organized by Asdeporte in partnership with BBVA, the race offers three distance options: a 4 km walk representing the four Hogwarts houses, a 9¾ km route referencing the famous platform, and a 14 km course reflecting the number of players in a Quidditch match.

Pre‑registration opens on 5 August for BBVA customers with a 15 % discount, followed by a second pre‑sale on 6 August at 10 % off. General sales begin on 7 August. Ticket prices range from 1,275 pesos in the early‑bird phase to 1,500 pesos for the standard rate. Participants receive a kit that includes a player‑a, hoodie, long socks, tote bag, commemorative patch and a medal.

The event aims to blend physical activity with iconic elements from the Harry Potter universe, providing interactive photo stations, hydration points and collectible medals throughout the course.
