Mexico City youth programs reach 30,000 participants

More than 30,000 young people participated in the 2026 Month of Youth in Mexico City. The 17-day program, coordinated by the Mexico City Youth Institute (INJUVE), featured cultural, scientific, sporting, and environmental activities across 12 locations in nine boroughs.

Key events included the Youth Festival at UTOPÍA Mixiuhca, which drew over 18,000 attendees, and the Warriomanía electronic music festival. The initiative aimed to increase access to public spaces for expression and learning, specifically targeting peripheral areas like Tláhuac and Milpa Alta to reduce territorial inequalities.
