Mexico City's Roma Norte expands luxury hotel and dining offerings

The Roma Norte neighborhood in Mexico City is seeing developments in its luxury hospitality and dining sectors. Casona Roma Norte, a 32-suite boutique hotel housed in a restored 1920s Belle Epoque mansion, has joined the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection. As part of this partnership with Hilton, guests can now earn and redeem Hilton Honors points at the property. The hotel features four distinct dining venues, including Terra, Tacos Romita, La Macaria Matcha & Tea Room, and the Somma Rooftop wine bar.

In the local culinary scene, the restaurant Xuna, located within Hotel Casa Izel, offers various tasting menus. Its shortest menu, titled Nuestra Tradición, consists of six courses priced at approximately US$88. Longer tasting options, such as the Evolución menu, range from 14 to 16 courses, costing between roughly US$165 and US$189. The restaurant also provides an à la carte menu.
