Mexico delivers 7.3 million services through Atención a las Causas program

The federal government of Mexico reported that the Atención a las Causas strategy has provided 7.3 million public services and administrative procedures. The initiative, overseen by Secretary of the Interior Rosa Icela Rodríguez, targets youth and broader citizen needs through house‑to‑house visits, fairs, cultural and sports events, health services, and the renovation of public spaces.

As part of the Tianguis del Bienestar, ministries of Governance, Finance, Defense, Anti‑Corruption, Customs, Tax Administration, the National Guard and the Institute for the Return of Stolen Goods visited 34 municipalities and 801 localities, distributing 3.4 million basic‑need items to more than 406 000 people. A “Sí al Desarme, Sí a la Paz” module at the Basilica of Guadalupe exchanged 11 684 firearms for cash.

Youth‑focused programs such as “Jóvenes transformando México,” “Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro,” and the “Boxeando por la Paz” sports initiative were highlighted, alongside the creation of 1 788 youth committees and cultural festivals under the “Circuito Nacional de Festivales por la Paz.” Officials emphasized the goal of expanding educational opportunities and fostering dignified employment for young Mexicans.
