Mexico Deputy Sandra Patricia Santos Makes Women's Legal and Psychological Aid Permanent

State Deputy Sandra Patricia Santos Rodríguez of the Morena parliamentary group announced that the "Tejiendo Redes, Mujeres Organizadas" initiative will operate permanently in Coacalco and the eastern part of Tultitlán, municipalities in the Valle de México. The program, launched in March to coincide with International Women’s Day, provides free psychological counseling and legal advice to girls and women who face any form of violence.

Santos said the service must be available every day, not only on symbolic dates, and noted that the initiative began with 25 women and has since expanded its network. Beneficiaries are guided to state institutions when needed, and the assistance covers a range of violent situations, including physical abuse and threats to children.

The permanent program aims to ensure continuous support and legal pathways for women throughout the district XXXVIII of the State of Mexico.
