Mexico DIF leaders promote women's political role and disability inclusion
Patricia López Navarro, honorary president of the State DIF in Baja California Sur, spoke at the "Mujeres que inspiran" panel, recounting her political journey from the 1970s through her involvement with the Partido Revolucionario de los Trabajadores. She emphasized the importance of women’s presence in public spaces and collective organization for social transformation.
Jessica Ríos, honorary president of the municipal DIF in Zinacantepec, led an event highlighting actions to improve inclusion and care for people with disabilities. She thanked state and municipal officials for their support and stressed that health, dignity and inclusion are daily priorities for the local administration.
