Mexico educational support: Free uniforms and school supplies distributed

In Sonora, Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño announced the distribution of over 35,000 free school uniform and shoe packages to families in Cajeme. This initiative is part of a larger state program with an investment of nearly two billion pesos aimed at supporting the local economy and encouraging student retention. Since 2022, the administration reports having distributed more than 2.2 million packages across the state.

In Coahuila, Federal Deputy Jericó Abramo Masso announced the donation of 3,000 school supply kits to families in Saltillo. The distribution is scheduled for August 26 at a local stationery store. To receive the supplies, parents or guardians must present their child's report card. The kits include various essential items such as notebooks, scissors, pencils, and geometry sets, with an emphasis on using Mexican-made products.
