Mexico highlights culinary innovation through Barilla and Chef Carlos Gaytán

Barilla has launched Gran Ruote in Mexico, a new pasta product inspired by Formula 1. Part of the ‘From the table to the paddock’ concept, the product aims to connect the excitement of the Mexico City Grand Prix with the tradition of sharing meals. The pasta, designed to evoke the dynamism of motorsport, will be available starting in September.

In Acapulco, Grupo Mundo Imperial is highlighting its diverse culinary offerings, specifically through the restaurant Teté by Carlos Gaytán at Princess Mundo Imperial. Gaytán, the first Mexican chef to receive a Michelin star, offers a contemporary take on traditional Mexican flavors inspired by his roots in Guerrero. His menu includes sophisticated interpretations of regional classics, such as pescado a la talla, as part of a broader effort to showcase Acapulco through high-end gastronomy.
