Mexico hosts regional job fairs to promote formal employment

Various job fairs are being organized across different regions in Mexico to promote formal employment. In Ecatepec, a recent event hosted over 100 companies, including Grupo Femsa (Coca-Cola), Kimberly Clark, and Jumex, attracting approximately 700 attendees. Local authorities stated that these monthly fairs aim to provide opportunities for job seekers, particularly youth, and noted that nursing graduates may find legal employment opportunities in Germany if they meet specific requirements.

In the Costa Chica region of Guerrero, the government announced an agricultural job fair in Ometepec scheduled for September 7. This event, coordinated by the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare and the National Employment Service, aims to offer more than 200 formal vacancies. Participating entities include Bioparques de Occidente, Agrícola San José, Coca-Cola FEMSA, Elektra, and Farmacias del Ahorro, alongside recruitment opportunities from the National Guard and state security forces.
